It can go as high as low 300's if I'm staring into a mountain etc. That being said I mostly run at 120-200 FPS with everything on maxed in the open world, while dipping to 70 or so in cities. Pair that with hardware in current computers not working that great with Vanilla WoW, as Blizzard stated in the last devcooler news, where they stated the problems of the Vanilla client not recognizing and utilizing their graphics cards. Notice how you got addons in Vanilla predicting when the next "Memory Dump" will happen, which casuses, in most cases, a small lag of 0,5 second or so. Even retail WoW runs better and at higher FPS, and it's way more demanding, or at least was, if it wasn't for the optimization done a few expansions ago.Īddons on top of that is mostly clunky and suck a shitload of memory out of the game. ![]() The game back then was poorly optimized and on top of that, it is a demanding game.
